20 metre Progressive Cardio Shuttle Test/Re-Test
***For anyone who has performed the 20 metre progressive cardiovascular shuttle test, here are a couple of random ‘ratings for age’ Vo2 max standards.
1. If aged between 20 and 29 years and male, and reached level 7 in the test your cardio/Vo2 max rating is considered to be Poor, and if female your rating is considered good
2. If aged between 30 and 39 years and female, and reached level 8 in the test, your cardio/Vo2 max rating is considered to be Excellent and if male, your rating is considered to be Fair.
3. If aged between 40 and 49 years and male, and reached level 9 in the test your cardio/Vo2 max rating is considered to be Good/excellent, and if female, your rating is considered to be Superior.
**Next test/re-test will be in Two/Three weeks, on Saturday morning following the class in Knocklyon C. Centre
